This small and extremely well kept and managed hotel is located about 15 minutes by car (depending on traffic) from downtown Lugano and 10 minutes from Lugano airport. Beautifull setting in a tropical garden overlooking the Malcantone valley. Rooms are well appointed and spotless. The breakfast, which is included in room rates, is typical Swiss - nice buffet with large variety of cereals, breads, cheeses etc.
Some rooms have a breathtaking view of the valley and lake while the cheaper ones face the garden. Service is excellent and the place is managed by the owner herself. Food in the restaurant is above average but one must make reservation for the restaurent in the morning for dinner in the evening.
This small hotel is really a home away from home. A nice spot to relax some days on a european tour.
Public transportation by bus to the Lugano downtown is not very frequent. This is a good place if one drives his own car.
