Spent three nights at the Hohe Promenade: a small,quiet, restful inn with great views. The required half pension was definitely worth it. Mr. Ackerman, owner and chef, provided some very good meals, although the selection was somewhat limited. rooms clean and comfortable, great views and located a short walk (5-10 minutes) from town center. Management requires half-pension, breakfast - excellent, but dinner menu choices limited to meat(or fish) dish and a vegetarian alternative. Other guiests appeared to have no complaints, but the food, given the cost, was substandard. One evening, the fish dish we were served were fried... more

Ackermann family run the hotel. It's in a central and quiet place, at the edge of the forest above the village centre; an ideal starting point for cable car, skilifts and hiking trails.
