Forgot to post a review at the time. Hotel Regina was a disappointing experience. The accommodation was tatty, faded and noisy youngsters (staff?) disturbed the night (until gripped early one am). The dining room was pretentious; lots of synchronised silver lid lifting to reveal VERY average food also refused to provide carafe water and charged huge amounts for bottled water.... more

we spent a week at the regina whilst attending a wedding in beautiful wengen. The view from our room was awesome,with the imposing jungfrau towering above us. I attended a wedding organised in this hotel in August 2008. It was fantastic. Beautiful location, nice room and most importantly the staff went 110%. Views from dining room were amazing, especially when the Jungfrau turned orange at sunset (right between courses of the wedding meal!). Thanks Mr Meyer for organising this! more

For a first time summer visit to Wengen we did not really know what was in store (apart from a wedding).
