I really did not expect Grindelwald, nor the hotel to be so picturesque. It truly is a breath-taking spot - with the Eiger towering above the village. We stayed at the Chalet Rotstocki attached to the above hotel. The chalet rooms were completely different to those in the hotel- far better appointed and larger.
