“Bad location, not worth the money”

Maybe management changed or something. This hotel does not live up to the hype. It is certainly lit up at night, can't imagine how people in those expensive lake view rooms sleep. “Pros and Con Artist Hotel - good view, bad location”

We reserved a Double Lake View Superior room (I had confirmation email from Manager) and were put in a Double Lake View Room instead without informing us. “'Best 4-star hotel' lives up to billing”

While they call themselves the 'best 4-star hotel' in Lucerne, they're definitely a 5-star just masquerading as a 4-star. Excellent and well-appointed rooms and great consistent service from the hotel staff. Their restaurant is also very good, with views of Lake Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus.

We stayed one night with our family (3 kids). We had two rooms with à view on the lack and the montains. Great breakfast in a nice restaurant. It's à short nice walk to the city centre where you can shop and visit musea.
