I stayed here for one night waiting for a friend to arrive to be transferred to Mandarin Oriental. So despite being right next to each other, the gap between the two hotels standing next to each other is immense and it is clearly reflected in the price. For CHF 130.00 for a single room with small breakfast included, it is... More

The hotel is located down at the Rhone river, and is easy to find. The set-up is not that of a typical hotel, there's no lobby area, only the tiniest of receptions, the breakfast room is small as well. The rooms are located in old apartments on different floors of the building. The rooms themselves are nice, modern, clean -... More

The place and the staff are very pleasant. Beautiful view of the river - only the traffic can be a little bit disturbing when you need to open windows. Rooms and furnishing are older but still, everything is corresponding with the price. If you want a first class level (and pay for it) Mandarin Oriental is just nearby:) More

Rooms are small, did not even have an alarm clock. When I used the hair dryer the lights in the room would flicker on and off. Bath room is smaller than what one would expect in a small RV. Lock on door is what I would classify as a "pretend" or "Mickey Mouse" lock. Did not feel safe in hotel.... More

Stayed here for two nights in October. The hotel is an older building and not much has been done to it over the years. The bathrooms are modest, the wooden floors are a bit creaky, and the windows are not terribly soundproof. But the location can't be beat, with every room looking directly onto the river, and the entire downtown,... More

I hate to beat up on this hotel so badly, because the front desk staff were rather pleasant, but it just put a bad taste in my mouth. Walking from the main train station should have been easy, but I messed it up. I knew it was next to the Mandarin Oriental but didn't realize it was up some stairs... More

The Hotel is located right on the Rhone river and next to a bridge, making it easy to get to the old town across the river. There is a lack of adequate free parking. We ended up parking in the grage for the Mandarin Hotel, next door for 30 CHF per night. Street parking is free until 8AM each morning.... More

What you see is what you get with this hotel. It's an excellent value with a very friendly staff. The rooms are certainly not luxurious but very clean and housekeeping keeps them that way. The location is excellent and within walking distance of pretty much everything you need to see in Geneva. More

Yes it is true that this hotel is not much to look at but the experience i gained from the hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel staff are very friendly and they are even willing to let you use their kitchen to prepare simple meals from the grocery store. This is a plus for those who are trying to keep... More

Had my Reservation and checked in. The place is absolutely terrible. The foyer smelled bad. The rroms were stuffy. You can open the window but then you cannot sleep. Lots of noise; many people stumbling in early in the morning. There is absolutely no reason to stay at this hotel. More
