The staff were actively grumpy & rude - any interactions were obviously communicated to you as a chore. Location was OK, and views of the valley nice, but this was far outweighed by the verging on nasty staff, cramped room, and general disrepair. We did not really expect this to be one of the highlights of our trip to Italy, but the town itself is incredible. I stayed here during and Italy and Greece Trafalgar trip. The staff was somewhat friendly and the food was excellent. The rooms were pretty small, but the view of the mountain side was beautiful, perfect window to sit and watch the sun rise. more

We were very lucky when we arrived in Assisi at this hotel because there was one parking spot left reserved for the hotel, and we got it!!!
