After reading about il Noceto Umbro here on tripadvisor, I couldn't wait to get here to try out Mama's cooking. It was well worth it. The rooms are comfortable, if on the small side, and the bathroom is large. As everyone here says, the food is wonderful. The breakfast is basic, but it usually held us all day. I have... More

Il Noceto Umbro is a special place: the beautiful setting, the warm and generous hospitality, and fantastic food for dinner and breakfast. Paola went out of her way to give us suggestions that helped us make the most of our short time in Umbria. Her mother is an incredible cook and we look forward to getting her DVD and learning... We've spent a couple of days in Il Noceto Umbro to discover Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, etc... Great hospitality and above all: an amazing restaurant. Highly recommendable !!! More

A family run hotel where they make you feel at home, and part of that family. Paola's charming hospitality, traditional food cooked by her mom, the history of the building, the quite and green location in the middje of the Umbrian countryside, the lovely setting...all these factors far outweigh the excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend Il Noceto. More

A very cosy hotel with a four star restaurant attached. Paola, her mum and sister are wonderful and the home cooked food is magnificent. If only I could make that broccoli pasta sauce! Thank you Paola, INU was one of the true delights of Italy and a reason we will be back! Excellent location with a number of Umbrian towns... More

We only have spent one night in this agriturismo, but I would recommend to book for at least couple of days. The location is great, just 10 minutes drive from Assisi (and the Assisi's view from the agriturismo is quite spectacular). The most important experience you can not miss is the dinner. Don't even think about going somewhere else to... More

We arrived late after getting a little lost. We were greeted with a big warm welcome from Paola who made us coffees and tea. After traveling fromSorrrento we didn't want to really have to drive very far for tea. Paola said that we would be able to eat there. Her Mummy (as she called her) made the best Italian meal... More

We had a great week here with Paola and family, who looked after us wonderfully. They have a small group of 6 or 7 rooms, some with a little mezzanine level with two kids' beds - great value at 130 euro for 4, including a big breakfast. Dinner is also available if wanted, all made on the spot, and is... More

We were there in June (3 girls from Poland) and we can say that we spent there very nice days (a pity that was only a two-days stay). Very nice hostess, delicious food, nice and clean room and beautiful views! I really recommend it! More
