Great little hotel. It's a short walk to the Piazza of the Palio race. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an Palazzo (3rd floor...so you have to take the lift in the courtyard) and could be not easy to find.. Our room was large and airy, with a great view of the famous city tower. more

Excellent location, clean pleasantly decorated and spacious room in a building with a traditional character, nice breakfast. A very enjoyable and convenient place to explore Siena. Good value for money. more

Friendliness of the staff was over the top. The atmosphere of the room was Italian all the way. Free internet and a very doable breakfast. We left for our next trip at 04:30 and we found a breakfast packed and waiting. more

A tip: the name of this place is Palazzo Fani Mignanelli and not Residenza D'epoca...i found out "residenza d'epoca" in Italy is a kind of a small hotel in historical palace. The location is wonderful. To be able to walk out into the very heart of this enchanting city is a great start to the day.
