Stayed here in January of 2012. Very reasonably priced small hotel, outside of the old city of Siena, run by a friendly family. Excellent room with private bath. Ample breakfast with many nice choices. Only negative is location on a busy street, but soundproof windows and quiet at night. More

The Piccolo is unfortunately located on a main road which detracts from what is actually quite a nice hotel. The rooms are spacious & clean & nicely decorated. We managed to arrive on the same day as the Palio so had some trouble finding a place. Another hotel put us in touch with them. The room was ok and the staff were really helpful.
