My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and it was lovely. We used it as a base for exploring Siena and some nearby towns. This is a restored Tuscan farmhouse, which has been in the family currently managing the residence, for at least 3 generations. The rooms (we stayed in 2 different rooms - having decided to stay... This hotel is ideal for a couple or family wanting to visit Siena and also take day trips elsewhere in Tuscany. Looking at reviews by other people, it seems maybe some units are different from others (size, view, noise), and of course people vary in their expectations, but we quite liked ours. The staff were helpful and provided a very... More

Three women stayed in a 2 BR for 4 nights. We enjoyed being outside the city for quiet. Our rooms were compact but comfortable & clean. More light required in the living room area, especially for reading and the beds are definately hard. Also, a plug in coffee maker would be a nice addition. We had some lunches on the... More

We stayed here for a week in May with our 21 year old daughter and enjoyed it very much. We were looking for a reasonably priced place with two bedrooms and a kitchen conveniently located for day trips around Tuscany. This was it. It is not luxurious but is clean and comfortable and well maintained. It is on the edge... More

I had read numerous reviews of this place, but none mentioned the highway noise. It was significantly loud with the windows open. The walk to town is also very noisy, not a pretty walk in the woods. The apt was functional, but not charming or pretty. The pool is not heated, so it is very cold. Not a place I... More

Thank you to Angela for making our stay so wonderful! She was very flexible and accommodating when we found out we could only make a reservation in Firenze at the Uffizi the Saturday we were suppose to check in. Luckily, Angela waited for us and we were able to get into the Uffizi an hour earlier. We took the train... More

We stayed here 5 days. Found it through Tripadvisor and contacted the property directly. Rate: 125 euros, which is really cheap. Nice apartment, clean, rather large bedrooms and bathrooms, not luxurious. Pool is great with kids, and especially when it is 90 degrees. Half a mile down the road is a little supermarket and a fantastic coffeeshop/bar/pizza restaurant, open 7-10.... More

First, don't let the website fool ya. It's not a luxury hotel. It's a place where mostly families go - and there are a lot of Europeans there. Also - it's Not a short walk to the center of Siena (behind the walls). There is a steep hill. And there is a bus, but still, don't walk if you aren't... More

We were very surprised to read some of the negative comments about Le Meridiane. Our stay at Le Meridiane and Siena was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We stayed in Apt 4A ; we had a beautiful view of the olive groves on the property. The Apartments are very well maintained and clean, with huge windows. You can... More
