Ten Stars! We spent 6 days in paradise at Hotel Vecchio Asilo. The room was comfortable, warm, spacious & had a great view - and even had good shower pressure ;-). Lovely little touches throughout the property - like fresh flowers, cedar candles and the towel racks right over the radiator so the towels are toasty when you come out... more

This hotel lives up to its perfect billing. Go there and meet the awesomest hotel owner ever. Get his restaurant recommendations, drink the blood orange juice for breakfast, and explore fantastic San Gimignano. San Gimignano gives a very cool medieval feeling, as does the 850 year old building housing the Vecchio Asilo. more
