Mama Marcella gave us an experience we will always remember - She was very hospitable - very much like staying with your grandmother- We left feeling like we were leaving behind family. “Thank you, friendly owner of the hotel!”

We were very surprised with the friendly atmosphere of this hotel and attentiveness of its owner. We didn't book a room and luckely there was free one in "Marcella". We arrived late in the evening but they met us very warm. A man who looks after rooms sleeps near entrance, so we were didn't worry about our safeness. And! it... More

“Special and cozy hostel”

We ended up staying at Albergo Marcella because the hostel we were hoping to stay at was full, and boy are we glad it was. Albergo Marcella was a really cozy hostel out of the loud hustle and bustle of Florence but still only about a 5 minute walk from the center of town and 2 minutes from the train... More
