We stayed at the Residence Michelangiolo for two nights as part of our driving tour around northern Italy this summer. It was very easy to find, especially with the aid of GPS - the wide tree lined boulevard that the Residence is on is wonderful, and although its wide, its not busy or noisy. My friend and I stayed here two nights on our recent 6 day motoring holiday from UK to Italy. I selected this accommodation because of the free private parking, the price/ quality/ location ratio and the TA reviews. We were not disappointed. Parking can be a nightmare in Florence. I stayed there last week and have to say it was the third best of the places that we stayed in Tuscany. I rated service as a 3 because of the limited availability of check in and other services (front desk attended until 6Pm only).
