This hotel is on the top floor but there is a lift. The reception is also where you eat breakfast. Very close to attractions. We had room 22 which was nice but could do with a little work. We were given a bottle of fizz for our wedding anniversay which was very nice. Breakfast was good lovely homemade yogurt but... More

We had a triple room that was beautiful, comfortable and quite large. Close to the train station, but off the busy main thoroughfare. Everyone was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again. More

Our family (aunt, niece, nephew-in-law and two boys, 8 & 10) stayed in rooms at Residenza Castiglioni over Easter weekend 2012. The rooms were large and interestingly appointed, very quiet, and very convenient to the very heart of Florence, and ust a 5-minute walk from the train station. Very nice breakfast including homemade yogurt and homemade breads, and chocolate eggs... More

Secure entrance. very friendly staff, big room with high ceilings and spacious, had in-room safe, fridge, Tv too small but you didn't come to Florence to watch TV did you? Nice furnishings and details make it special. Bathroom clean and well appointed with... More

We really enjoy this old residenza in Florence... it is a small hotel/B & B on the second floor of a lovely old building on a small side street very near the Santa Maria Novella rail station. It is also close to the fabulous Medici Chapel. The hotel does have a lift. The small and sweetly decorated lobby is also... More

We stayed here in early October- the accomodations were excellent, the rooms beautifully-restored and spotless, and included a lovely breakfast. Cristian and the staff were very helpful, professional, and gracious hosts. This is what a B&B is meant to be. We will recommend and hopefully return. Three Sisters. More

There is also a room with a view on the Duomo side of Florence; the lovely 'studio suite' at the top with a picture window overlooking San Lorenzo's dome and Tuscany beyond. Despite being bang in the centre of Florence it cost only the same as our tiny MFI-clad room in out-of-season Cinque Terre the night before! And they DO... More
