This hotel i use the term very loosely is really well placed for central florence. But dont expect breakfast you just have to help yourself to anything that is in the fridge and there isnt very much. Rita the manager/owner seemed to be hungover a lot of the time, she told us that more guests were coming on our second... More

This was one of our favorite places on the trip but I can't give it a high rating. It was scary going down the long dark entry hallway the first time when we didn't know where we would end up. You won't get reliability and consistency but it will be an adventure and it has been one of the things... More

"This was one of our favorite places on your journey." Thank the structure and 'old with thick walls so you can not always connect wi-fi on the first floor but the medieval walls allow you to stay fresh forever (all just come and say 'nice .. here is fresh) we have 2 USB with 2 different operators to connect a... I normally do not review hotels I stay at but when I saw this one pop up again, I had to share my experiences. We arrived at the the time we said we would arrive, sometime around 5pm. The owner, Rita, was still taking her afternoon nap and took a while to answer the door. Even though I speak Italian... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Ninna Nanna in December 2010. The hostel is right in the center of Florence. Rita is a great warm person, joyful, chatty...italian! If you're an open person and like to know people and different cultures you better go to Ninna Nanna. It's not simply an hostel, it's a portal to an italian experience. And... More

The owner opened the door in a bathrobe. There were boxes everywhere. Even though it says on her page that you have guaranteed parking, do not buy it. You don't. She told us-"Leave the car in front, maybe no penalty. The garage (public) if you like is 20 instead 25 euro. " Yes, her English is that bad. Do not... More

Ninna Nanna located right in the center of the city. It's easy with Metro or buses to go anywhere. The room we stayed was very clean and the host was very nice and friendly. We have to leave early every morning in order to cover the most of the sites so we would miss the breakfast. But we got breakfast... More

I travelled with my wife to Florence and booked a room at Ninna Nanna before we left Canada. The day before our arrival day, we had re-confirmed our arrival time with the owner again. However, when we arrived, the owner said she totally forgot our booking and had just rent our room to another group of travellers. We thought this... More

We were two female backpackers traveling around Europe and got into Florence, Italy very late one evening. We arrived at Ninna & Nanna and were treated with marvelous hospitality. Not only did we receive an AWSOME rate on our room, but it was a great location, clean, had a lovely balcony and the service was top notch. We would definitely... More
