We had a wonderful visit to this incredibly beautiful and romantic B&B. I would recommend it to ANYONE who wants a lovely and affordable stay in the heart of historic Florence.
The decoration and restoration really is superb, and the location is incomparable. In addition, it was quiet, air conditioned, unbelievably clean. Your host is an accommodating German, who is highly professional and works hard to make your stay pleasant.
Recommend that if you drive, you either leave your car out of the city and come in by train, or that you get good directions to a main parking lot near the apartment, rather than trying to drive in directly to the hotel, which is located on a lovely, small piazza (off a small Street in Florence). By foot, it's pretty easy to find. By car for the first time, however, it's a little more stressful. The map on the website does not include all the streets mentioned in the directions.
