Excellent position. The room was large and clean. We had a shower in our room although the water was cold in peak showering times. The bed was comfy enough and large. The breakfast was included and was the best I have had since traveling. The staff were friendly and helpful without being in your face. I would definitely recommend this... More

The room and bathroom were very spacious for my husband and two sons. Had to walk up a few sets of stairs, but it was a great experience and the breakfast plentiful. More

We stayed at 4 places in Italy durin our trip and undoubtedly Bavaria was the best. Jst mainly because of the hospitality of the staffs. They are the best hotel staffs I have ever found. The room was big, had its own shower. The shared toilets were very clean. The breakfast was really good. The location is very good, close to... More

Wonderful experience. Lovely staff. Great hospitality. And a very generous breakfast. Would come back to Florence just to stay there again. Rooms very a bit cold since its and old building but it didn't matter to us. The biggest plus was the location. Even the shared toilets were very clean. Very helpful staff. More

Hotel Bavaria has a great location near the center of Florence. We walked from the train station and, while the streets were quite crowded and it was a challenge to weave through all of the pedestrians with our rolling bags, we managed. There are 68 steps to climb to reach the hotel, and there is no elevator but, again, we... More

Really helpful staff who were very quick to reply to our e-mails and even booked tickets to the Uffizi and Academia for us (you pay for and pick up the tickets at the respective galleries). We had one of the smaller, basic rooms and shared a bathroom. Everything was spotless, cleaned and the bed were turned down every day. Fresh... More

This hotel oozes with history and quirky charm, and so while it may not be suitable for those who are looking for a standard business hotel, we enjoyed emerging ourselves into a historic experience of Florentine life. Our room was huge, with almost four meters to the ceiling that was decorated with a original painted pattern, and the room had... More

Me and my 2 friends were visiting Florence for 3 nights on a girly break. We arrived at Hotel Bavaria after walking with our cases from the train station. 10 minutes ish walk which may not appeal to some but we managed. I imagin it would be very simple and cheap to get a taxi if you didnt fancy the... More

Just returned from a three week vacation in Europe visiting six different cities. This hotel was by far the best value we found. You really can't beat the location - right between the Duomo and Piazza delle Signoria. The place was very clean and quaint. It is certainly not a luxury hotel, but for the price and location it can't... More

Gorgeous little B&B in the middle of Florence, just a 10min walk from the central station or a 5min taxi costing apx 8euros. The hosts were brilliant, showing us maps of Florence and marking all the main sights and markets, even helped carry our luggage to our room and made sure we knew how to use the keys etc. We... More
