This is a nice and very cheap hotel, situated in the heart of Florence. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was basic but ok. Family-owned, with italian charm. Highly recommended. Hotel molto carino e MOLTO economico, situato nel cuore della città. Camere pulite e spaziose. Colazione essenziale ma buona. Hotel di proprietà familiare, ricco di tutto il fascino italiano. More

We were not expecting much from this hotel due to its 2 star rating, however even with this low level of expectation we were disappointed. The place is run by an elderly couple who speak almost no English, are grumpy as hell, and spend most of their day sitting in front of the television in the breakfast area watching Italian... More

First off, the owners speak no English at all. I do speak Italian as a second language so for me this was not a problem. However, for the average English speaking tourist, this would be a major concern. If you are going to list your hotel on Expedia, which numerous Americans use, shouldn't someone in the hotel know at least... More

After our original booking was messed up, we panicked and used the reservation services in the SMN Firenze station (I do not recommend them either, you can say good bye to your diposit if you change your mind). They booked us for 2 nights in Hotel Giotto, said it was a 3 Star hotel (even on their receipt the 3... More

stayed one night only, service was rude and creepy. There is a 10pm curfew after which you must pay to enter hotel. NO breakfast served in the morning as advertised, upon inquiry, i was told the coffee machine was broken. Appearance was very clean HOWEVER my vacation was ruined due to BED BUG BITES!!!!!! More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it is on the 2nd floor ( no lift ) of a 17th Century palace and had frescoed ceilings and dark wood floors. It was easy to find from the S. M Novella station, about 5mins walk, in the San Lorenzo area. The church and Medici Chapel are literally on the doorstep,... More

My wife and I stayed here when we first arrived in Florence. The hotel is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of an old building. We stayed for one night before moving to another hotel across the street (Residenza Castiglioni). We were not very happy with the place. We had 2 heavy bags and was surprrised they didn't have... This is a nice hotel however please note that the air conditioning does not come on after 10.30 at night which is exactly the time you want it on when trying to sleep.. anytime we did go back to our room to drop things off i only ever felt the air conditioning on once. Location is very central. Also when... More

We found this very cute B+B right in the centre of Florence. It`s only small, but so convenient to come back to and drop off shopping or better still make our own coffee as it had a kettle in the room! After a long day touristing it was great to be able to come home to somewhere quiet, as it`s... More

Spent 2 nights at this accomodation & would definately return. The location was great, quiet & perfect for us. The bedroom plenty large with a view of the duomo. Bed comfortable enough & a large spotlessly clean bathroom. A wonderful rooftop terrace where we had coffee in the mornings & wine every afternoon enjoying the view. The staff was very... More
