Residenza d'Epoca was perfectly located in Florence. It was easy to walk anywhere in the historical part of the city. This is a steal for the price. The rooms are large, current and tasteful with antique furnishings and oriental rugs and the bathrooms are designer appointed tile and marble. The amenities are better than many 5-star hotels, the staff affable, well-informed and obliging. This place was location, location, location more than the room. You would walk out and be immediately in the heart of Florence, the cafes, the people the pulse of the city. Rooms were clean but plain, my bath was just ok, breckfast room was nice, tv was great. Room was hot due to no air conditioning in early May. more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely and comfortable. There is a water cooler in the hallway that dispenses hot or cold bottled water and there are pitchers, glasses and a tea service in the room.
