This b&b was absolutely amazing. I stayed here for 3 nights with a friend and just loved it. The b&b is clean and spacious; the owners are wonderful and very helpful, and the location is the best! This is a great place to stay...an enthusiatic and friendly hostess, very nice rooms, baths and common areas, it's quiet, and just a couple of blocks from most of the A-sights in Florence. Yes, this was the third time we had stayed at Il Bargello and as we normally don't return anywhere that is high praise. We love the City and Il Bargello is right in the heart of everything - to sit on the roof terrace with a glass of wine and gaze at all the towers (incl the Duomo) is bliss.... more

The stay at this B&B was perfect. The room was very nice looking and clean. There was a small terrace connected to the room which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying wine. People were friendly and helpful. Climbing the many stairs was worth it. I'd stay here again. more

We stayed for 6 nights in June during our honeymoon visit to Florence. We found the Il Bargello to be all that the reviews state. The room was nice and clean and no problems with the A/C or hot water, etc. Daily maid service. The breakfast was great--yogurt, breads, fruit, juice, and especially Capuccinos!!!
