Pros: Friendly staff, most know English well. As we checked in they gave us a free map of Florence and used a pen to show best routes for walking and showed us the location of the sites we wanted to see. :) The hotel is just a 5-10 minute walk

Great hotel located a 5 minute walk from the train station. Also, easy walk to many sites in Florence. i.e. Duomo, Piazza del Signoria. Lots of cafes in the area as well. Hotel itself had very friendly staff, great breakfast to get you started in the morning and rooms were very clean and nice size. Stayed there in Dec 2011.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Its central location makes it very accessible. It was the ONLY hotel that I stayed in, in Italy that had an air conditioner (I traveled in July!) so that made it the best hotel I stayed at :) they provided a continental breakfast in the morning that was decent....
