The residence is located in a nice building. We spent 20 minutes on foot to get to San Marco. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The residence is in an attractive building on a relatively quiet residential street. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and a 5 minute ride to the train station. Our room, on the second floor ( no one offered to help us with luggage) was clean but not comfortable. The air conditioning did not work and the bed was uncomfortable. The WiFi did not work. Just outside the centre of Florence in a quiet residential area, Johanna II is beautifully kept and good value. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are simple but lovely, the bed was comfy, there is a computer with free internet, and drinks available. We'd highly recommend it More

We stayed 2 nights and all staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We felt well taken care of and immediately at home. The inner city is still in walking distance. A good choice for few days to exploring Florence. More
