Our triple room was quite, clean and spacious. The attached bath was up two stairs, clean and supplied with fresh towels and toiletries. The cold buffet breakfast was okay. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Its location is great. Five minutes walking distance from the main railway station and also from the Duomo, Uffizi and other sights. more

Can't fault the staff at the front desk who were very helpful and encouraging when I tried out my dreadful italian! Fortunately they all spoke english far better than I spoke italian. San Giorgio is only a stone's throw from the train and bus stations. It is also only a short walk to the city centre and affordable restaurants are plentiful and close at hand. We traveled to Florence by train, so being a 5 minute walk from the station was a bonus. It is only a few minute walk to the Duomo, restaurants and shopping.
