After a visit 15 years ago--and knowing what a fabulous location it has--I returned with my daughter in tow to give it another try. Lots of the hotel was under renovation, which made for some noise and disruption, but accommodations were still very lovely and welcoming. Hotel closed to Santa Croche and 10 mn walk from Il Duomo. Beautifull hotel in front of the Arno river. The bedroom was ample, nice and cleaned. Very good breakfest. We will certainly return to this hotel for our next trip to Florence. More
