We choose frequently Holiday Inn (and other ICH hotels group) because of their good standards and this hotel also met our expectations. One of our nights was an award of a previous Holiday Inn promotional initiative and we paid an excellent rate for the rest (68 EUR/night). Excellent value for money. King size bed, full size bathtub, cosy internal environment... more

Hotel does what is required, swimming pool was closed, Location 2 to 3 miles out of town, however we did walk in and out of town and caught buses. Very little around the hotel location, all closed late at night - note was mid week,.taxis ordered and arrived on time - circa 30 euros to/from airport. Short trip so may... more

Having flown to Pisa, we drove here & this hotel was easy to find, & well signposted once near it, & in a good location to do the Florence sights. There was a bus stop outside for a short ride into the centre of Florence, or taxis were very reasonable. A few eateries in walking distance, and a lovely lunch... more

The bedrooms were perfectly adequate but the public areas were disappointing. The entrance to the hotel was scruffy with no atttention to cleaning. The Hotel advertised the biggest swimming pool in Florence but it was closed. The webiste said it would be open unitl the end of September. We were informed that the lifeguard had now left after the end... more

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your comments. I have carefully taken note of all the points you raised which were very appropriate indeed. The swimming pool season has always been from June to September as our website states but without a specific date because we depend so much on the weather, which was dreadful the week before you...

We arrived at Holiday Inn after staying further south in an agrotourism place. This was a welcome relieve to have a normal bed and bathroom. The room was good with a nice shower. The staff were relatively helpful. They advised us that we could catch the bus from just outside the carpark to take us into Florence. So a good... more

The hotel itself is pretty average, but the service and attentiveness of staff was exceptional. Sig. Lopez Agosiimz was at the front desk when we checked in. We were tired after a long day of travel. He was gracious and verey generous in responding to our many questions. Our experience over the next four days was very pleasant. If we... more

Dear Mr and Mrs McComb, Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel. I will certainly pass on your extremely generous words of praise to Mr Lopez who, I am sure, will thrilled by them. I am a platinum member of the Holiday Inn chain, and stay in these hotels all over the world. This by a long way is the worse. Staff are not very friendly. Helpful advise to travellers almost non existant. Room cleaning is lazy. The pool only opens from 10am which is crazy if you want to start the day with... more

Glad I checked the reviews for this place - from the outside, it doesn't look like much but the rooms are in great shape, the front desk staff is friendly and attentive, and the location is perfect if you are planning on using a car to get around Tuscany (looks like it's on a bus line as well for those... more

Located on the outskirts of Firenze. Don't let the external appearance fool you. It is actually very modern, nice & comfortable inside. The concierge & reception staff were very helpful and more importantly, very precise. They advised me it would cost 15 Euros by taxi into Firenze and they were right on. It cost 11 Euros on the return trip,... more
