We stayed for 2 nights on a Gate1 tour and loved the location. Just a short walk to all the important sights. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel was clean and service was good. Breakfast was so so. Room numbers were confusing.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights with friends, who had stayed there previously. We found everything to be perfectly adequate for a short stay. The rooms have all the usual amenities you would expect, including tea and coffee making facilities. Everything worked as it should including the a/c. Very well kept and the perfect Florence location for walking most places, only thing negative is the loud streets at night making sleep sometimes difficult, would recommend asking for a quiet room if possible. Very nice rooftop bar with great pic opportunities! Can't reiterate how great the location is, all tours start very close.

I did not enjoy my stay in this hotel at all, it afforded very poor value for money. For a supposedly classy hotel there were many issues with Hotel Cavour.
