Stayed for 4 nights. Part of Amex Fine hotels program so got an upgrade to the suite. Very nice room. Lousy breakfast. The eggs were cold every day; coffee was burnt and the spread was worse than a Hampton Inn. Conceirge was terrible. No followup. What a pleasure it was - from our first meeting with the concierge, to staff advice on how to get to the airport when we left, our 48 hours there were a delight. The Regency is a small, charming hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but only a short ten minute walk to the Duomo, etc. The staff is very courteous and helpful.
