Whenever I am looking at room pictures on an establishments website, I'm never sure it they truly portray the rooms. We had no surprises when we checked into the Azzurra room - it was exactly as it appeared on the website. We were surprised at the amount of storage space: a large wardrobe, space under the TV shelf, and built-in... More

This place is a great choice, and then the reasonable price makes it a great deal too, especially for the single traveler. Our group booked all five rooms, and if you have the right number of travelers to do this, you ought to. Having a private home base to start and end every day is a great benefit when traveling... This was such a perfect find. I mean, the location alone is full of win; and it being in a medieval building *with the stonework intact* was pure gold for history nerds like me; but what really made Casa dei Tintori shine was how welcoming and warm and accommodating our hosts were. They took such good care of us! Breakfast... More

On our arrival on Monday morning Alfredo was there to meet us to take over our luggage so that we could go for a stroll and have some lunch while our room was being prepared. From then on Ricardo and Lavinia were on hand and looked after us impeccably right up to our departure on Friday afternoon. Nothing was too... More

This B&B was such a comfortable place! The classical European interior of course is charming, but the real charm of this B&B is the people. Riccardo and Lavinia's hospitality made me feel like I was visiting friend's home. You can feel that they really enjoy what they do and that makes you feel at home. It was my first time... More

The B&B has an excellent location, within walking distance of all the major sites in Florence. Riccardo was extremely helpful in picking up admission tickets for us to several museums and in answering all questions that we had about the city. Lavinia put on a beautiful breakfast and was very friendly, and both Riccardo and Lavinia created a very comfortable... More

The B&B has a great location; we walked everywhere without ever having to take a bus. We were happy we could meet Riccardo, Lavinia, Alfredo and Valeria and could learn about local customs, restaurants and museums directly from them. Our conversations made us feel part of their family. This is what we are looking for when we travel: learn how... More

This is a lovely, friendly and character filled family run B&B. Riccardo looked after us very well with local transport info, tips and restaurant reservations. The room was charming and comfortable. The location is great - in walking distance to all the main sites. We will stay here again if we are back in Florence! Thank you!

If you are looking for a well located B&B close to all the main sites in Florence and local restaurants then look no further. Riccardo and Lavinia give this a homely and welcoming feel, with plenty of local information if you require. They have great attention to detail which gives their establishment a superior feel. There was very detailed information... More

We stayed for three nights in the Indigo Room. Our hosts were very helpful, suggesting the best sights in Florence. We felt 'at home' during the stay and the breakfasts were excellent. The b&b is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo, and not far from the centre or indeed the train station. There are good... More
