We have had the holiday of a lifetime at Villa Ducale. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Antonio who provided us with wine on the terrace and gave us much useful advice on where to go and what to do in Taormina. I stayed at the Villa Ducale at the end of September with my husband on our honeymoon. We stayed for 10 nights and both agreed it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Could not fault it. Everything about the Villa Ducale exceeded our expectations. The staff, food, our terrace, were exceptional. Of note, meeting other guests at the daily breakfasts and cocktail hours, enhanced our experience. Nothing occurred during our 8 days and 7 nights that diminished our experience. more
