We even had a room with a view over Taormina and the sea in the background. Very quiet neighborhood, 10 min walk to the cable car, 20-30 min to the beach if you want to take a walk down the mountain on a beaten track. Good service, decent breakfast considering the price. No curfew, can get maps and info here.
