We stayed for 3 nights. Friendly welcome. Nice breakfast, though little choice (no cheese, no meatproducts). No restaurant (of which we were unaware on arrival, had to search for a decent restaurant late in the evening ...). Spacious room. Bathroom is not fitting up logical. We have been a week at La Frescura and it has been an excellent choice. Not far from Siracusa, good position to visit the whole area, the beach in Eloro is bueatiful and not too crowded. The apartment was good and comfortable, people extremely friendly and the breakfast outstanding. More

Very friendly people, home-made excellent breakfast, in the middle of olive and other fruit trees, next to the highway (but enough distance to neither hear/see/smell it), next to syracuse. Try the beach at Eloro (near Noto, also worth seeing), next to the archeological site, nearly no infrastructure, but a white sandy beach nearly for you alone! More

La Frescura is ideally located just a short drive from Siracusa and wonderful Ortigia where one finds good bars, restaurants and is immersed in culture and magnificent views. This is a great place to stay. Franca is a wonderful cook with her cucina casalinga dishes and daughter Ida is a delightful young woman, always ready with advise and friendly helpfulness.
