We have just spent a week at Villa Gigi in Fanusa, near Siracusa in south East Sicily. It is advertised on many websites and looks great on the pictures. It does have a privileged position - right on the sea, but what you can't tell from the photos is that, in our opinion, it is in need of complete refurbishment. The appliances (fridge, oven and the kitchen sink) are in very poor condtion along with the barbecue and many other aspects of the villa. We would not go back and definitely don't recommend it, in its current condition. We have photos! more
