A modern concept hotel outside Ortigia. Many intriguing design elements that didn't quite work. For example, the square doorknobs didn't turn and were tough to close from the outside and the reception space lacked any flat surfaces on which the staff could show us where we were going on a map. Was staying for one month in Dec 2009. Excellent Customer service, Gym, Thermal zone, and cozy atmosphere. The rooms seem to be not big enough - this is only one disadvantage that I can see. Good location, 5 min walking from the see shore with nice lane for jogging. Enjoyed restaurant downstairs. There are also some restaurants nearby. Strongly recommended. More

This is a very friendly and pleasant hotel. Bar, restaurant and reception staff were uniformly helpful and chatty. Rooms were spacious and pleasant. The only flaw is that it is some distance to Siracusa town centre and Ortygia, which is not immediately apparent from the hotel's website. More
