We loved our stay at Palazzo Conte Federico! The guest rooms are lovely, spacious, beautifully decorated and have a small little kitchen with basic breakfast things like coffee, milk, yoghurt, cereals, jam, biscuits, etc and a beautiful basket of fresh fruit. The palazzo itself is impressive and beautiful and at a perfect location to explore fascinating Palermo. Conte Federico was... More

It was an unique experience to stay in the Palazzo Conte Federico. It's a real travel through the history of Palermo, as the building has parts from different times including a tower from the XII century. The service is great, it has everything you need for a nice stay, the breakfast is at any time you want, the rooms are... More

We had a room in the ground floor having access directly from the patio where we parked our car. Tha palace is the classical rundown palace in Sicily. Incredible building, with a mix from the XII century until the XVIII century. the room was more like an appartment with extremely high celings, a bathroom and a kitchenette. We were received... More

We had a wonderful stay in this calm and peaceful oasis in the middle of busy Palermo. The palace oozes history through every pore, from the gorgeous courtyard to the palatial rooms upstairs, which were shown to us by a very knowledgeable and proud son of the family. We had the honor of staying in the ancient tower in a... More

I had the pleasure visiting Palermo in February for culture and sightseeing - and was lucky having found the "Palazzo Conte Federico" amidst the ancient town center. I had a wonderful room/apartment downstairs and felt almost 'royally' accepted as guest of Contessa Alwine, Conte Federico and their son Nicolò. They made my stay in Palermo comfortable I will not forget... More

Due to the historical arcitecture of this baroque palazzo including small windows in its b&b accomodation you have to cope with not too much natural light in the rooms and maybe with the rustic design of the antique furniture. Having a lot of space we felt comfortable there. And we enjoyed very much the personal touch of Contessa Alwine Federico,... More

We stayed for three nights at the Conte Federico in the centre of Palermo and from the beginning we were impressed by the friendly and personal service offered by the owner, Nicolò, who did everything to make us comfortable and gave loads of advice on what to do and where to eat in the city which really helped to make... I don't get the negative reviews... The family who own the Palazzo are incredibly charming, and the Countess in particular is the best ambassador for Palermo that you could find. She gave us such excellent advice on where to go in the city when we were there for two nights. And to be able to stay within the Palazzo was... More

Our party of 6 well traveled people (and 6 different nationalities) booked 4 nights in this b&b as a "grande finale" to our tour of Sicily. Shown the rooms, we had to toss a coin to allocate them as nobody really wanted either of them. All 3 were located in the former servants quarters & ex-store rooms, 2 faced the... More
