We only stayed in Vicenza one night which was not long enough. The town is full of beautiful buildings and has a wonderful calm air. The Palladio buildings were very beautiful, don't miss La Rotunda.
We stayed in the Annexe of the Due Mori which was perfectly civilised and had a comfortable en suite room. The staff were very helpful...

Driving with a GPS is a godsend until you arrive at a walled city or one with traffic restrictions. After driving around chasing our tail my husband decided to park the car in a paid parking lot and walk to look for the hotel. It wasn't easy to find although later we noticed signs we should have seen! When we...

Location is great right in the center. Free Parking space provided. Staff gave excellent advice about where to eat etc. The rooms are a bit basic and for 85 euro per night it was not cheap compared to other hotels we had in Italy of similar quality.

This hotel is worth the price. It is perfectly located in the heart of Vicenza, although town seems to be lots of shopping stores and not a lot of real city life. There is an excellent option for offstreet parking that is about 15 euros extra per day, but worth it since Vicenza kicks cars out of city center from...

The location is great for sightseeing and shopping, though a bit tough if you arrive by car. While it's possible to get a permit for the hotel to drive through the historic old city (and even park there overnight), the driving is very hard due to one-way and closed-off streets, poor street signs, and narrow streets filled with pedestrians. It's...

I stayed here with a group of 14 university students and 2 professors for a period of 2 weeks. The hotel itself was right in the city centre, steps away from the city's main square. It's also steps away from Corso Palladio, one of the main arteries of Vicenza, where most stores/shopping is located. It's about a 10-15 minute walk...

We stayed one night at the Due Mori - the location is excellent, right by the Basilica. We followed the signs to find it (very narrow streets). We were able to park immediately outside overnight, and Sunday next day so didn't have to move the car early. However, we could only stay one night because they were closing for three...

Just spent 4 nights at the beautiful Due Mori. Fantastic location in the heart of the old city. Beautiful decore - antique without being over the top, really tasteful. The bedroom was simple (no TV, hairdryer etc) but clean and pleasant. This hotel was very good value. Vicenza a perfect place to stay - numerous Palladian villas, civic buildings and...
