After staying here for 3 nights I am really surprised to read the negative reviews, my husband and I got back from Verona a couple of days ago and we really enjoyed staying here. We stayed in a static caravan which was perfectly fine, the showers were warm, clean and powerful and the toilets were fine there was 1 'normal'... More

This camping is unbelievable. The view over the city from several terrasses is perfect. The crew is friendly and there are possibilities for cooking. A small shop offers food, drinks and super italien coffee. We'll be back! Judith + Christian

We arrived earlier than check in time and the staff were quite rude about this. You can't park your car next to the tent which was annoying. Very small plots to pitch tent and surrounded by lots of bug filled plants - bitten alive! The toilets are just a hole in the floor and were filthy with a strong stench... More

We spent over two months camping in Europe. This campsite was by far the worst. Not a blade of grass, the dirt got into everything. Pitiful cooking facilities. Only squat toilets that were filthy and had no toilet paper. Often only one employee to run both registration and the bar/grocery store which led to long long waits. Good location but... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend, as we were traveling by plane, we rented a tent and matresses. The tent was small, when lying down, my feet and my head would touch the sides of the tent. The mattresses leaked, so we both woke up several times a night of backpains. Hygiëne is also not one of their strong points,... More

I've spent the last week at Camping Castel San Pietro in verona. The campsite itself is beautifully situated just inside the ancient city walls in what seems to be an old pine forest. The campground is divided by several different levels due to the natural geographic layout along the walls - actually rather charming. But be prepared to climb steep... More

The place is wonderful situated, a short walking distance to the city centre (this was the reason we've chosen the place), the personal very friendly but unfortunately there are a lot of "buts". I don't even want to speak about the mosquitoes, you must always count on them when camping. 1) Warm water is included, but no warm water was... More

Absolutley beautiful views with a lot of steps! Very close to the centre. The cafe was well stocked and reasonably priced. The showers were fine, however the toilets where a shock... My boyfriend insisted this must just be an Italian toilet! We laughed and got over it. The staff were lovely and helpful but they could have smiled more.

We stayed here initially for one night but ended up staying for three. The staff were lovely (except the guy with the dreads!) and there was a great atmosphere. The campsite is only a short walk (down a lot of stairs!) to Verona and is very good value for money. There is free parking on one side of the road... More

I keep it short, as I'm in an internet point in Verona, about to take a train to Florence. Loved everything about it, it's been a long time I found an energy like this on a camping site. Very relaxed, very friendly personal who were speaking most languages necessary. I loved the music we heard on the terrace, it created... More
