Nice little hotel in a "quiet" corner of Venice!! - apart that is from the bar next door! We spent 3 nights here in May 2012. The windows of our 1st floor room opened onto a dark narrow walkway and were approx 3 yards from windows of the bar next door. The bar had live music Friday eve - Rock... More

Very friendly staff. We had been upgraded to a superior Deluxe room with the view of the canal. Spacious rooms with well ventilated bathrooms. Centrally located, just stones throw away distance to the Railway station and shopping areas. Good continental Breakfast. Rooms were very well-isolated and well equipped. More

This B&B served an above average breakfast. Good variety, well stocked and above average quality of food. Cold cuts, eggs, a variety of cereal and decent croissants. We had a room on the top floor that was quite large, it had a double (true double not to singles pushed together), and two singles as well as a pretty good sized... More

We really liked everything about this Hotel, and we have stayed at many in Venice, liked the location, and close to a Vaporetto which to us was important, the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and well furnished, not a canal view but not a problem, the breakfast was very good by Venice standards, plenty lovely rolls,Ham and... Due to a delay in our KLM flight we missed our connection in Amsterdam and arrived much later in Venice than we had planned. As the reception isn't normally manned after 8:30pm we telephoned the hotel to explain that our flight wouldn't arrive until 10:30 and we wouldn't arrive at the hotel until around midnight. The staff were very helpful... More

Hotel Cendon is down a tiny little lane near Ferrovia (vaporetta and train station) and easy walking distance of the Rialto bridge. It is not smart, trendy or romantic but is an honest bed and breakfast which is immaculatly clean, a little old fashioned and has very pleasant, helpful staff. There is no internet access in the bedrooms and it is 10... More

If you don't like crowds this is the place for you. It is only a 10 minute walk from the train. There is a vaporetta stop right outside the hotel. It is located across the canal from the Jewish Ghetto and there are great restaurants nearby. You can travel to the more popular side by a vaporetta to St. Marks... More

We spent two nights in this hotel. I would say it is not very satisfying. For one thing, the hotel reception closed at 8:00pm. We didn't notice it when we booked it. Due to train delay, we arrived 20 minute late and you can tell from the staff's facial expression and attitude that she is very angry with the late... More

First impression was scaring. Hotel entrance located in an alley and building with no plaster on the façade walls... I thought "what sort of rathole have I put us into?" Tried to talk my wife into going somewhere else but she said we should have a look inside. Inside, reception was not bad and staff treated us well. We checked... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel this past May (2011). We booked late and we were not able to find anything else that met our budget other than this hotel. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. Although the room was very basic and the reason for the average rating. If you are looking for a comfortable... More
