We booked this hotel because it was close to Piazza Roma, 5-10 min walk with two bridges to cross, & the great reviews it has on TripAdvisor. It didn't disappoint. We booked a room for 4 with private facilities over the internet via email with no hassles. We requested the top floor with a canal view which we received. The... More

We stayed at the Dalla Mora based upon reviews here at Tripadvisor as we weren't disappointed. Know in advance, this is not a 5 star Hilton. But it is a fantastic value compared to the pricing of rooms on the island, not to mention the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Access couldn't be much easier and the ability to... More

The hotel is excellent for its rate. It's fronting a small canal so that's very nice and easily reached from the Sta. Lucia train station (walk). There's free wifi, but for some reason, they turn it off at around 8/9pm.Weird and a bit inconvenient. You can try requerting them not to turn it off if you need it... The terrace... More

We spent 4 nights at this pleasant hotel located on a small canal. Our room (#5) had a window which overlooked the canal and was a reasonable size for sleeping. A small table and chair were the only furnishings other than the bed, which was firm but clean and spacious. The bath was small but functional. The room was adjacent... More

What this hotel may lack in amenities (no TV, no fridge, and our private bathroom was down the hall), it makes up with a cozy and convenient location and friendly staff. Nestled away from the touristy hustle and bustle, in a quiet neighborhood facing the canal, it's still close enough to walk to the attractions, bus, train, andvaporetti stops, cafes... More

You can't fault this hotel. For the value for money in what is an extremely expensive place, this provides good value in a great location. The breakfast consisting of bread rolls, croissant, biscuits, coffee is a good start to the day. The location is on the canal however I had a funny little room with just a single bed (travelling... I travelled with my sister. Dont bother asking the attendant to carry suitcases up to the room, obvioulsly this is not done in Italy. Shame as the hotel was good value, reasonably quiet, and staff were pleasant. The shower in the room was hilarious, i have never seen anything like it before, just plonked in the middle of the room,... More

Beautiful venue in a great location. Outstanding view of the canal from our room. Great terrace and excellent staff. The best thing, though, is the price. Venice is so expensive and so beautiful. Why spend a fortune on fancy accommodation, when you can stay in this charming place and save your cash for the vaporetti and local seafood?! More

Clean and in a great area, close to bus, train and cruise ship terminals to a vaporetto stop (5 minutes), and Rialto Bridge (10 min.). We had a very basic room, twin beds, ensuite. All as advertised including free wifi and use of a laptop. Helpful and friendly hosts, Breakfast (included) was boring (breads, jams, cheese, coffee/tea, no fruit) yet... More

We stayed in this hotel based on good user reviews on Trip Advisor. I had originally booked a place in Mestre but was very glad we didn't stay there after driving through town. We had 4 beds and our own bath and shower. It was very simple but clean and neat. It was close to walk to from the bus... More
