What a lovely, lovely place. Me and the Mrs went there as a weekend away few weeks ago. Stayed here as alternative to the busy St Marks. Staff friendly and the room clean, and beautifully decorated. Would not hesitate in going back!!!!! More

Pros: 10 mins to vaporetta, then 15 mins to San Marco. Excellent facilities in room for self catering. Great location for beach- even on a poor weather day. Out of hotel then turn left. We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 children (teenagers) and loved the hotel. The apartments were comfortable and clean with a small kitchenette. Loved being able to escape the hustle and bustle of Venice. The views from Lido across to Venice were stunning and the water bus service was fast and reliable. Read the reviews on here which is why I decided to stay. It was just perfect in every way. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, relaxing, excellent value for money. The Lido is the perfect escape from Venice Centre and definately the place to stay. More
