Actually we did not stay at the the B&B part but took the guided tour to the mosaic factory. A great experience showing the art of producing one of the most ancient form of decoration. They have the B&B rooms and mostly host participants to their world renowned mosaic school classes.

Domus Orsoni was home for me during a 2 week mosaic course - yet any traveler would love staying here. The rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. I stayed in 2 different ones during my time and can't decide which is my favorite, they were both lovely! The breakfasts each day were fantastic, a choice of baked goodies, fruits,... More

Shh dont tell how wonderful it is. The staff is very caring and helpful. The mosiacs are exquisite and the rooms are lovely. Everything you need is there. The rooms are small but perfect. Beds comfy, bathroom was lovely, with a bidet even. The tour of how they make the tiles is fascinating. The location is far from san marco... More

I would never want to go anywhere but here if I am travelling to Venice. It is like staying with family. You won't want for anything. It is safe, clean, out of the way of most tourist traffic. It has quick and easy access to the train and to the Airport. I reccommend them highly to anyone.

I had a trip of a lifetime in November 2012. As a practicing mosaic artist I had wanted to visit and study at the Orsoni factory in Venice for sometime and my time came! So not only did I have two solid weeks of mosaic making using the finest venetian glass - smalti and gold- I got to 'live' at... More

Tucked away in the Cannaregio section of Venice, Domus Orsoni is generally associated with the Orsoni Mosaic foundry and the mosaic classes they offer. But when there are no glasses in session, it is open as a bend and breakfast. The building is completely non-discript except for a little mosaic sign that says Orsoni. But when the door opens you... Our stay at the Domus Orsoni was truly pleasant. It was indeed an interesting find and the bonus is that it is situated within a quieter neighborhood, not too far from the train station. They don't have a full fledged reception so you'd have to schedule your arrival with them but it's really no trouble at all. At the front,... More

I stayed here with my family for two nights in June 2012. The place is very nice and clean and the staff are also very helpful. It is away from the crowded areas of Venice but there is a water taxi stand about 500m from the B&B that takes you to San Marco and other key areas. The rooms are... More

I stayed at the Domus Orsoni for 8 nights while I was taking a mosaic class. It was a wonderful place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I was a single traveler but was put in a room with a double bed and a fabulous bathroom. I even had a bathtub. The gold mosaic work in the... More

If you want to visit Venice, be away from the crowds and just wander the bridges and alleys, then choose to stay at Domus Orsini in the Jewish quarter. From the time we arrived at the station and after a brief walk, we were not disappointed. It is located in a quiet location, yet not too far from cafes and... More

Dear customers , thanks for your review; the way you've seen Venice is the best way to appreciate a unique city in the world; Cannaregio quarter, the place where we are, is for sure the most venetian quarter of the city, as you note the place where many venetians go to take a drink and eat, faraway from the tourist's...
