A charming B&B, very close and convenient to the vaporetto stop from both train station and airport. There are a couple of very good restaurants close-by that are well known by locals and not overrun by tourists.

I am not sure how we found this palazzo,called "athomeapalazzo" but it is a gem. We travelled in Italy for ten days, staying in expensive suites every night but our room in this fourteenth century palace, now a private home, was the best accomodation we had at a fraction of the usual
