This is a good hotel, easy to find, is very near St. Lucia train station, from the station turn left and just walk about 5 minutes, the hotel is in a small alley to your left. The hotel is clean, the bathroom is clean, breakfast is sufficient just not too comfortable sitting on the high chairs with small table. The... more

This is a one star hotel so you should not demand too much. Surprisingly the cost of a four star hotel in Rimini was way lower!! Caprera is just a short walk from the train station so you can save a lot on water taxi which is expensive. It is also close to shops and the Grand Canal. The room... more

We stayed here during the 2007 Carnevale. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were quite large by European standards (let alone Venetian standards), as was the bath, and the price was well below other hotels in Venice, especially during Carnevale. The family that runs the hotel (and their cute dog who greets travelers in the lobby), are extremely nice and... more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in Venice here and we didn't know what to expect other than what we read on tripadvisor. We had to drag our suitcases on uneven pavement and steps across the bridge to get to the hotel because we took the affordable route on the bus. It is a good thing that the hotel... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in May. The hotel is extremely clean & quiet (except for the birds in the morning). We stayed on the 2nd floor and the room did not have air conditioning, which would have been nice. A fan was in the room though. Breakfast was served downstairs every morning. They provided cold... more

We stayed here last month for two nights. Arrived late Friday night and a bit apprehensive about finding hotel. Flew into Marco Polo and to bus into Venice - off bus, across bridge and walk striaight about 200meters - hotel on v. small laneway to right - (think its the third or fourth small laneway you pass) - but well... more

After reading the reviews on this hotel, we decided to book there. We were not disappointed! The hotel was very clean, very comfortable, very friendly and a great location. The room was small but quite adequate. The bed did not sag and was quite comfortable, the bathroom updated & spotless. The sheets were crisp and sweet. The only thing we... more

I stayed at the hotel during the Carnival. The room we got with my mum was very small (single with buck beds) but very clean! The bathroom was tiny but sufficient - clean floor, shower, washbasin, towels, linen! The rooom was equipped with a small TV set too (though we had no time to watch anything:) Everything looks new! The... more

We family having 2 young children spent here 2 nights in May 2008. We booked through the hotel website and impressed with the response. We know, for this price we will not get Canal view but no other views you can see through the windows. Not very close from Termini but walkable and can be easily located. It is in... more

My wife took me to Venice as a suprise birthday present, we stayed at the hotel Caprera for 3 nights. We payed 90 euros a night and a extra 10 euros per night for breakfast, breakfast choices was very limited but fair for 5 euros each. The rooms are clean and spacious. We stayed in a double room with en-suite... more
