fabulous service and location. asked about the local bars/restaurants and everything was written down on the maps for us- the places where literally we went were packed and we were the only non-italians. the staff were just lovely. the rooms are very cute- outdated versus a modern look but they were quite sweet. location was bang in the centre right... You could not imagine so friendly and helpful staff in a budget hotel. Beside it, the hotel is next to Rialto bridge and a pleasant walking distance to Piazza San Marco. Although, there is not breakfast and internet facilitates, I I recommend it for all who want to stay in a clean and budget hotel in so rich city.

I am a femial traveler and I was in Venice on my own. The owner's gave me ownderful directions to the hotel from the airport and I located it without any problems. The hotel is small and there will be some street noise in the evenings, but it is a part of the experience. I felt very safe and well... More

The sisters who run this little hotel were extremely friendly and helped us with everything we could possible need in Venice. While it's not a five star hotel, it's worth remembering that there are hardly any "modern" hotels or five star hotels in Venice. For what you pay and what you get, this place is probably the best you can... More

I think I'm going to stop relying on Rick Steves so much to pick my hotels for me! I found Hotel San Salvador on my own and am so happy I did! My philosophy of picking hotels is to find a nice economical, independently run hotel, in a great location, and one that allows me to get the feel of... More

Very kind people and clean but.... the room was very very small and't let your soap fall in the shower because you won't be able to take it again as there is no space. Impossible to see the sky from the window: you can almost touch the wall of the neighbour house! The walls are so thin that you may... More

Its Venice very expensive and not so much space. Stayed two nights and the hotel was more than fine for me and just what I needed is simple and very clean plus extremely well located. The rooms are small but ist Venice and you are 5 mins walk from Piazza San Marco! The girl behind the desk was lovely and... More

Get your expectations right! This is a very small place! No lobby, no restaurant, no pool... But what do you want all that stuff in Venice for? If What you need is a good place to sleep and right downtown, this is it! Located right next to Rialto bridge it's next to everything. Price is ok, considering Venice. But the... More

Not being to Venice before I was not sure what to expect. This wasn't really a hotel or a b&b it was just different although Iam assured it is typical Venice accommodation. It really was hidden but in a fantastic location very close to all the hussle and bustle but once in the room you couldn't hear a thing, the... More

Overall hotel was fantastic! Best parts were location and staff. Ambra is kind, helpful and informative. She warns you of tourist traps and places to avoid. Entire city is walkable from this location. Rooms are very small but expected that. Everything was clean and fresh. Only complaint is that we had several mosquito bites each from sleeping with window open... More
