This is the most over paid hotel I've ever stayed at! The a/c system has not worked for a while and the rooms need a paint job. Walls are dirty, humidity stains all over, the bathtubs are disgusting with dirt along the edges and hairs. The hotel staff was unhelpful, told us that the a/c problem was of ALL the... More

We arrived in Venice by the airport bus. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station, you just walk straight ahead, over a small bridge, and then you have it on your left hand side; easy to miss, but just look up, and you'll see the sign. We'd booked the suite. The room was alright, but when... More

I had the single room (with double bed) with the small balcony. It was (unseasonally but wonderful!) boiling hot during my stay and the balcony, which looked out to rooftops was excellent, as the room was really hot due to AC not being turned on. Sitting out on the balcony with a cold prosecco was lovely. Small mini fridge also... More

I have just spent a wonderful short stay in Venice, travelling on my own and meeting up with people for a day. La Forcola met with all my expectations, it was very easy to get to from water bus, or walking from the Piazale Roma, (the express from the airport or number 5 bus will take you there). I recommend... More

this hotel was very well situated to use as a base, with the San Marcuola waterbus stop very nearby. The room suited our needs for the stay, and we found the hotel a pleasant place to stay in. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the rooms were kept well. Breakfasts were good and gave us a good start to... More

Very good deal during the "carnevale". Small simple hotel, rather 2 stars not 3, but clean friendly and excelant location (2 minuts to vaporeto in grand channel, 10 min. easy walk to railway station). A good and simple resaurant in front of hotel. More

As with all our reviews lets look at the good and not so good sides: Firstly the the problem with many of the hotels in Venice is also the appeal. The large majority of hotels are built in very old and cramped buildings and as a consequence space is of a premium. You will be able to 'swing a cat'... More

Found this hotel to be located nicely on a small canal stop & within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the train station. The place is small and cozy but decorated up to to date. The staff was friendly and spoke English well, Only 23 rooms. I booked for solo and found my room to be typical small for Europe, but... More

We stayed here on route to a cruise. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, but beware of the bath. I stepped into the bath to find that the bottom was not flat, but shaped to accommodate the shower. I slipped, and it could have ended our holiday there and then! however it didn't,and we... More

It wasn't the Ritz, but that wasn't what I was paying for, nor did I expect. For a tourist friendly weekend, I paid $226 for two nights. In that town, that's not bad. The room was small, but it had everything I needed. The remote for the TV didn't work, but in a small room, that was no problem. I... More
