We had room 302 (i think) on the second floor with access to lovely terrace. Room was lovely and roomy and bathroom was good too. We found the staff always helpful. Breakfast was adequate but not great and the coffee (there was one of those multi-choice dispensers) was truly awful. We couldn't understand why Italians could serve such awful coffee!!... more

Stayed here from 30 Sep 09 to 05 Oct 09. Had booked 'the comfort room' in the adjoining Palazzo Conti Querini but when we checked in we were shown to a small double room on the 2nd floor of the main hotel. This is a lovely hotel; had a nice huge two room suite which was fantastically decorated and like new. Bathroom was perfect and the flat screen TV's nice. Rooms overlooked the canal. stayed here for five nights in March , the weather was perfect so spent most days out and about and was only in the hotel at night and morning. the room we had was small but really nice with huge old paintings, drapes running dowm from ceiling over the bed. en suite was really nice with robes and slippers .air... more
