Stayed in a triple with my boyfriend and our mutual friend in July 2012. We arrived via train, hopped onto a vaporetto, and got off at the recommended stop. From there, it was terrible on a hot day trying to find the guesthouse using the provided directions. We got very lost, but the awesome staff at All'Arco (a MUST-GO restaurant)... More

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the Arco Antico in a superior double room . The website of the hotel gives a good representation of the hotel and the rooms , although it makes it look more modern that what it really is ( and this is not meant negatively - there is a pleasant old world feeling... A little bit difficult to find at first (like any place in Venice), but one you figure it out, you realize this guesthouse is located very close to the sites. We were here the day of the vaporetto strike and had to walk everywhere. We stayed for 2 nights in a Double private on the main level. Breakfast was okay... More

This would count as our third stay as we had each stayed previously with our families. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood (so you feel more like a local than a tourist) and it is very centrally located. This time we has a ground floor room which was understandable as we were only there one night. The accommodations were... More

We stayed there for a night, is right close to the canal grande, a little door at the end of an alley. The room Carlo Goloni was a total revelation, decorated in a Venetian style blew us away!!! The bathroom was very neat and modern!! The breakfast is in the hall and is ok the coffee is not great but... More

Stayed here for 7 nights in April 2011. It was to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were here with another couple, old friends who share the same anniversary date (we first met them on our honeymoon). Well what a lovely little B&B! From the outside it looks very unimpressive and like many old buildings in Venice it is appears... More

The room was a generous size with an en-suite bathroom up a creaky flight of stairs. Consequently it was difficult for either of us to visit the bathroom in the night without waking the other up. The bed was a bit hard and the bedding consisted just of blankets, no duvet; fortunately the room was heated to a reasonable temperature.... More

The room and bathroom were fine, but beware of the shared bathroom, as it is within one bedroom, without shared access. Our friends could only access the bathroom by walking through our bedroom! The breakfast was pretty basic, but the people were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just off the Grand canal, with shops and cafes nearby. If... More

There are only 8 rooms and you feel like a house guest. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is happy to recommend local restaurants (which were very good) and sites to visit. It is conveniently located about a block from the Grand Canal and a short walk to a vaperetto stop on line 1.
