I stayed at the hotel from the 3 - 5 May. It was my first time in Venice so was really excited to sample all the city had to offer. It's in a good location, not too far from Marco Polo airport (about half an hour) and from the other touristy areas (Rialto and San Marco square) about 20mins to... More

We stayed in room 14 for 2 nights. It was a big, clean room with an en-suite bathroom. Great shower & very clean. The only annoyance was that whilst we requested a double room, this room just had two single beds bolted together so someone always had to sleep on the join = not comfortable! The location was great &... More

Never rent number 25. Venetian style! very old room. ugly carpeted floor. The receptionist does not know whats good behaviour. We did a complaint and they answered with a impertinent upgrade demand. The coffee bar near is a fine one. The Trattoria Pallazzina beside the bridge is not worth. Only the risotto from the pirate-like-looking cook is a superb one. More

This place is wonderful. Made with taste, in Venezian style. If You see this place inside You will feel the atmosphere of the town immediatly! It is only 10 minutes from S.Andrea Parking, very close (100m) from the Grand Canal, restaurants are downstairs. Bathrooms are very clean, air conditioner working nice and quiet. Breakfast in European style, not to big... More

For the price I would have expected something a lot more, but I haven't stayed at another place in Venice. A bit difficult to find as the entrance is down a narrow alley. The room was very old and run down, and could use some upgrading. The one guy running the entire place was friendly and helpful. I suggest asking... More

Hm... Casa Martini was a very strange hotel. I did not see any of the "design" aspect of it in my room and we were left our key on the empty front desk with a letter that they were gone for the day. Okay, fair enough. The hotel was very hard to find with it's little sign in an alleyway... More

First thing to know is that it is a bit of a problem to find the entrance to the hotel. You need to turn to the left from the wide street Cannaregio into a narrow alley (there were some kind of roadworks in that alley during my vacation, so, in the future, I suppose, there won't be a problem). Then,... More

Just returned from the Casa Martini following a cruise on the Niew Amsterdam. The contrast could hardly have been more stark! We naively imagined that by paying £170 per room per night (that's about 270 bucks to our friends across the pond) we would have a fairly comfortable hotel to relax in before returning to the UK. Our first surprise... More
