Venice is a very expensive city. This is only a 2 star hotel, but it is a good 2 star hotel. I would stay there again. Location is great, 10 minute walk from bus and train station, twenty five minutes walk to St Marcs Square and five minutes from St Toms vaporetta stop on the Grand Canal.

Small characterful hotel, beds fairly comfy, bathroom clean & decent. Breakfast better than anticipated, boiled eggs, slices of cheese & ham, cereals and the like. Overpriced - if it weren't in Venice!

We were in Venice for 2 nights and Tivoli Hotel was very centrally located but in a more residential neighborhood. The hotel is standard, clean rooms, decent beds and shower bathrooms. Was in Venice during the carnival week,which is why the price was higher than during normal times,however the breakfast options were not too great.The room ( tripple bedroom) was clean spacious and the bathroom was good too.Close to the central station,but quite a distance from the St.Mark's square.All in all a good stay.
