whether this is your first trip to venice or have been before you cannot beat this hotel for location. I am not talking about views or being on the doorstop of the great sights (Saint Mark's Square, The Rialto) but the fact that you have every route around the city right on your doorstep! Just 5 mins walk from the... More

We stayed here for two nights after arriving via train from Milan. It was literally around the corner from the train station! Our room was great! Complete with free wifi, breakfast and a huge bathroom! We specifically chose the one that faces the Canal and it was definitely a good choice. Restaurants suggested were also great, and great service! It... More

My mom, husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during Carnevale in the room just off the reception. We had a spacious room (the one in the cover photo above - yellow/gold) that overlooked the large Ponte Scalzi. It made for excellent people watching during our downtime and was conveniently located near the train station. It's not... More

We arrived at the Abbazia Hotel and looked forward to our stay upon arrival from what we saw around the reception area, sadly we were told we were next door in the sister hotel Abbazia De Luxe. The hotel is literally next door and is a 20 second walk from the water taxi office or a 2 minutes walk to... More

This hotel is very close to the train station which means you don't have to drag you luggage on and off a vaporetto or very far down a cobbled street. It's easy to miss though as there is no sign outside and you have to turn down an alley then you'll see a door on the left with the name... More

Wonderfully warm staff greeted us at the inn, with a perfect room with canal view for 2 adults, 2 kids, toiletries from l'Occitane, ample living space with a divided room for kids to separate from adults, ample a/c, and a great breakfast offering. It was about a 20-25 min. walk to Piazza San Marco, but in terms of arrival and... More

If you're looking for a stylish place to stay while in Venice, this is the place! Right next to the train and car parks it's easily accsessible. Breakfast is sufficient, the staff is welcoming. Rooms are spacious und quiet and have a great view onto the Canale Grand! A bit on the expensive side, but I guess that's Venice!

Perfect location near the train station, and also the water bus stop, for easy walk with luggage. The staff couldn't have been better. Somehow, they found us waiting for our train after checking out, as they ran to return my sons tablet he had left in the room. Apparently they really did listen when we were discussing our next plans.... More

Good - Location, clean, quiet, buffet breakfast, comfortable bed, complementary drinks in fridge. Much appreciated, as it was very hot in Venice when we visited.. Not so good - the stairs up to reception, not much storage in room for unpacking. Great for a stop over before joining a cruise. Easy to find. You can also use the amenities of... More
